Whatsapp marketing messages: what's next?

After months of procrastination (I mentioned this in my last article https://urlr.me/aUPCu3 ), this time it seems that Meta has decided to end WhatsApp marketing messages as we know them.

Until now, you could still send messages to customers who had never interacted with you, and for the more daring, attempt cold outreach to prospects (with the risk that Meta would fire you without warning 🚫 ).

👉 Soon, no more playtime: only messages addressed to contacts who have already exchanged with your business via customer service or a Click to WhatsApp (CTWA) ad will be forwarded.

🎯 The official objective? "Preserve the quality of the WhatsApp experience", prevent it from becoming digital trash 🗑️ and maintain open rates >90% and engagement >50%.

At Messaging Me, we're fine with it.

We don't want WhatsApp to become the SMS of the 2030s 📉.

On the contrary, we're convinced that the only real gateway to the WhatsApp ecosystem is an ultra-qualitative conversational experience 💬 integrated customer service, relevant interactions and real value for the customer.

🚀 No more trowel marketing. Make way for conversations that count (and click-to-whatsapp campaigns that work!).
